Sensitive, dry, eczematic, itchy & annoyed skin because of abusive winter and excessive face washing effected my face & before my facial skin completely peeled off I was in desparate need of some medicinal cream. I remembered watching Lisa Eldridge’s video on French pharmacies must have items and I turned to Boots and got me some
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 – 100ml
- La Roche-Posay Rosaliac UV Legere – 40ml
I gave 2 days to Cicaplast Baume and dehydration, redness, itchiness and tightness gone and took away the eczema traces from rightside and because I have some other nonsense going on the left side it has calmed down the problem and a lot of redness but main red patch is still there but I am very optimistic. My skin feels a lot more calm, hydrated and supple than before
Rosaliac UV Legere is green coloured cream I thought it will counteract the red patches and there we have a perfect concealer but excuse my naiveness…… this is not a concealer (I should know that)… It’s a cream and it disappears into the skin once applied.
NB: Rosaliac cream’s Fortifying Anti-Redness quick check; applied after threading my face. It stung a little bit but in minutes all the redness was gone. So that’s a + point. Plus it contains UV protection so really good for daytime use. It works completely fine under the foundation.
Texture: Cicaplast Baume B5 is honestly like a glue you really need to rub it on your face or wherever required and massage it in. But then it disappreas completely. Rosaliac feels like any other ordinary light textured cream. Both of them has tinsy bit of medicinal scent which doesn’t bother me a lot.
Packaging: I love the plastic tube packaging easy to carry and without digging in your fingers and spoiling the whole damn thing.
2 for that.
Though I love both of them but if I really have to pick one …then I prefer Cicaplast and totally recommend it.
