Simple Face Mask for Oily Skin

I am a person who doesn’t believe in potato masks or cucumber soufflé on your face unless, I try it and I could really see the difference. 99.99% you are required to add about 10 ingredients to make a seventh wonder of the world and just by reading it. It makes me tired. smiley

So, I decided to use only 1 ingredient and realized that I don’t have to go through all that palaver I was reading & 1 ingredient is bloody amazing and makes a difference. Simply get your hands on 1 tomato. Slice off a chunky piece or just about the size of a round cotton pad. Mark gentle cuts with the knife on the fleshy part and leave it in the microwave for 5 seconds. Then, exactly how you apply the toner with cotton pad on your face simply massage the flesh on your face and neck until the flesh finishes …(becareful if the tomato is too hot for you…leave it to cool for few secs before you apply it on your face… Chuck the left over skin in the bin….(I guess I have to tell you this..).

Leave the tomato on for 5 minutes. Finally, wash it off with cold water and pat your face dry.

                BEFORE                                   AFTER

This technique is really good for deep cleansing, to tighten up large pores and to get rid of excessive oils. I truly recommend it for people with oily skin.

Although I’ve got dry skin but I would like to use this method when I’m going out because tomato is

  1. Rich in Vitamin C which cures mild acne
  2. Brightens dull skin
  3. Natural acids balances the excessive oils
  4. Deep cleanses
  5. Foundation goes on so smoothly
  6. Gets rid of all the sallow & sagginess
  7. Feels like I’ve just had a facelift without any needle probbed into my face.

Once I rinse it off I apply my usual moisturiser and then you are good to go. It definietly makes your face lifted and enlightened from within.

NB: Do not thread and straightaway apply tomato on your face. It will sting really bad.

Cheers
