New Cid cosmetics i-long wear cream eyeshadows Review & swatches

I’m very excited to share a review and swatches post with you guys on New Cid Cosmetics i-long wear cream eyeshadows (phew such a long name). I have 5 shades out of 8 so, let’s dig in to them.

The packaging is very sleek. I have never came accross with white packaging to be honest so, white being my #familyfavouritecolour. I am very excited for the look of it. When you open up the small box you will find a clear plastic container with either a black lid or white lid. I don’t know what’s the deal with it or may be you have to win a lucky draw to get your favourite colour lid. Once you unscrew the lid you will find a cream eyeshadow 5gms sitting fairly at the bottom of the container which is a bummer because I don’t like to pock my nails in to the product. In such #chaoticscenario I think New Cid Cosmetics should offer small brushes so, the product stays hygienic & nail marks free. Ok!

Textuture & Quality: I have not touched any cream shadow with this superior quality. More like a mousse so, fluffy on touch and stays on like a soft protection shield. Great for dry lids and awesome for oily lids for their good staying power. These #badboys don’t crease either. All of them last for 8-10 hours except the pink shade called Tourmaline (30 mins to last before it disappears into galaxy).

Price: It’s retailed at £14.50 on cid cosmtics website which is pricey I must say but the quality justifies it.

from left to right: moss, spotlight, diva, tourmaline, cobalt

so, from left to right here we go……………….

Moss is a deep green colour with gold & black peeping through,

Spotlight is a lilac colour & it has silver shimmer which looks so, pretty; wear it from morning to evening.

Diva is a purpler colour with silver shine and very very fine shimmer

Tourmaline this is very feminine pink colour with a touch of gold & fine silver shimmer …very pretty

Cobalt is a blue colour  with black tone running through and duo-chrome shine…shouts awesomeness.

Opacity: Moss & Diva are one swipe and Bang bold colours on your lids very very opaque then, Spotlight cream eyeshadow(being such a light lilacy shade it has very impressive pay off.. even more so, I use it a lot & I think it’s discontnued fake tears) …….then, Tourmaline the biggest bummer with this shadow is; no staying power at all. So, if you were planning to purchase this item. NO … NOoo.. NoO..

My last one is Cobalt which is a beautiful duo-chromatic shade. Nothing cheap about this blue. Maybelline colour tattoo in Electric blue is similar but maybelline has silverish shade going on but the cobalt has black colour running through which makes it a lot different. Unfortunately, mine is a bit dried out and one swipe doesn’t give me very opaque colour. I have to apply layers on layers to get duo-chrome effect. But once it’s on it’s so stunning. (recently I have done a Katrina Kaif makeup inspired look with this baby do check it out. This shade is perfect for smokey blue eyes.
