I was always skeptical to create BLACK SMOKEY EYES. But once I have gathered a little courage it was pretty easy to accomplish.
So, lets begin …..
Pick up Inglot peachy eyeshadow no. 314 and apply it all over the crease. Then I took small crease brush and took dark brown eyeshadow by Essence no. 06 Metropolitan Sparkling Effect(this eyeshadow has a very fine silver shimmer in it) which if applied heavily can appear obvious. Anyway, I blended the two and made them one lol.
After that I took Maybelline gel eyeliner in Black and apply all over the mobile eyelid and close to the upper and lower lash line. To create a smooth finish I patted black matte eyeshadow all over the black gel eyeliner. Sue devitt has beautiful champage coloured highlighter which I have used under my eyebrows; to finish the entire smokey business.
Curled my eyelashes and then applied Elizabeth Arden mascara generously…… (no eye lashes… I know… if you have to wash your face right after filming a video …I’m sure you won’t bother. but you are most welcome to apply fake eyelashes… certainly they look glam).
I used Mac Face & Body foundation in C3 and to cover under eye shamaz I used Le Maquillage Concealer/Corrector palette (review). On my chubby cheeks I have applied sleek blush in pomogranate . And I have fallen in love with it all over again. It looks so beautiful.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Oxford Street Fuschia . This is the first lipstick which I am planning to keep a back up in store. It is such an understated colour but it gives so much freshness to the entire makeup look. Have I convinced you now or not yet !!
